"Up from Behind" or "The Magnificent Stone Wash Soap"

Sorry for this long post in advance. I tend to do that.
So, received a little gift the other day. It's something I've never heard of, but wow, am I impressed.

I got this gift from a family member who said they would never use it, which suits me just fine. This little kit came with a brush and bowl of soap. After doing some research I think it came from Bath and Body Works, but I can't really find any info besides one lonely kit on ebay. If anybody has any info on this stuff I'd love to hear it. I want to buy another puck of the soap.

Anyway, while the brush is fairly small, and the handle is crappy molded plastic, I am completely shocked at the kind of lather I get from it. Honestly it's better than my first Omega in terms of lather and softness. If the handle was not such crap it would be a great brush. I'll see if I can't get some photos up the lather it can produce.

The gem of the kit, though, is the soap. It comes in a cheap plastic bowl, but wow, just wow. The scent is almost non-existant (but is there, and is quite pleasant), and the soap is just a plain white. I honestly expected something cheap and of poor quality. I was wrong, though. The lather this stuff whips up is thicker, creamier, and more lubricating than just about anything in my shave den. It is non-tallow, and reminds me a little bit of La Toja in terms of consistence and texture (the soap, not the lather). If anybody has the chance to try this stuff out, you have it on good authority that it is worth the pittance you'll pay. I'm going to see if I can find the soap wrapper and post the ingredients for you guys and gals.

I guess I don't expect any real responses to this. I just wanted to share a great little "out of nowhere" soap I found.
