NOS, mint, unused – call it what you will, this razor has never been used and still has its factory edge. The scales are clean, the pins are tight, and the razor closes on center.
This razor needs the usual work to get it shave ready.

Mechanically sound
Handle is very clean and the TTO is mechanically sound. Lacquer loss and scratches on the doors, but the gold plating is still there. The case shows signs of its age; it is dry and has fine cracks on it.

Wow that Gillette is exactly like the one my grandad gave me when I started shaving during my teenage years and then used it for 25 yrs after. I left it in a hotel during a family vacation and of course housekeeping didn't have it when I called the next day.
