unscented

Bannister & Mann also makes a great unscented soap which I am currently using. The performance is beyond outstanding.

Strop Shoppe makes an unscented soap. Never tried it but there scented offerings are great, so I would expect the unscented soap to be excellent as well.

DR Harris Almond is practically unscented, as is L'Occitane Cade. I find that many if not most soaps are far less scented on the face, even (shudder! gasp!) Arko

Don't sleep on the Van Der Hagen that you can usually find locally at say Walgreens. It's a very mild soapy scent that I prefer to most other soaps I've tried.

I'd like to kick in another vote for Mike's unscented. With the addition of Kiss My Face unscented cream. Both have very very mild scents, Mike's is really nice actually.

I don't know what you're sensitivity level is, but my spouse gets migraines triggered by pretty much any scented anything and both of these pass just fine. VDH, Cella, Proraso Green (C.O. Bigelow), several other Mike's samples, Irisch Moos, KMF green tea and bamboo, and probably a couple more I'm forgetting did not make the cut. Vitos Extra Super and Mike's Rosemary and Mint are both borderline but as long as the bathroom has a chance to air out for half an hour or so they're not a problem.

Unscented or very, very lightly scented soaps that come to my mind and have used.
La Toja, Mike's Natural Soaps unscented, Mitchel's Wool Fat, Kiss my Face unscented and Proraso Green.

Others I that come to my mind: Mama Bear's unscented, Calani unscented, Gold Dachs, Mystic Water unscented, and Proraso White.

If you have problems with fragrance allergy like I do, you could either stick with unscented or with essential oil fragrances(essential oil fragrances are much much less likely to be allergic to), or you could give a try the following very mild scented soaps that do not affect me (please remember that there are 9 or 10 possible chemicals which are extremely aggressive and that are used in fragrances, and you can be allergic to either of them, so is not really necessary that what worked for me will work for you):

Bea Stick, La Toja Stick, LEA stick, LEA Shaving Cream, Musgo Real Shaving Cream - classic one.

Also, some of mikes fragrance oil do work for me, so they don't contain what I am allergic to.

Some unscented soaps have more smell (often unpleasant) than some scented. I usually recommend mild "soapy" scents over "unscented" options.

I can highly recommend Los Angeles Shaving Soap Company's unscented soap. As close as you'll get to MdC on a budget. I've been using it this week and will post a quick review here on the soap forum shortly.

Kell's Original makes a highly latherable unscented soap. I wasn't fond of the absence of a scent but I am very fond of the product!

Wow, that's some great feedback-thank you all.
I've never been one to use any after shave or cologne so this is good info.
