UNKNOWN PAL RAZOR CASE

Hi Everyone, I have been trying all ways to identify this PAL case, let alone the razor. It’s driving me mad, so can anyone help, please, before I lose it completely!

It looks like a cousin to the Star Model 100, which is another American Safety Razor brand. That's about all I can add.

Does this help?

Edit: A completed auction has something similar

I presume it's the same as the US Star, manufactured in Britain after ASR's 1954 acquisition of the PAL and Personna brands. The Star began production c.1946. 1946 Canadian ad here

Thank you so much, you guys are always helpful. You’re right that it does look like the Star 100 but I haven’t found a gold one anywhere. The case seems unusual too - almost 1940s, and I haven’t seen another one like that either. The PSL logo looks a little different in style.

I have two gold Star 100 sets, they are not uncommon.

Sorry for the bump but the PAL razor that comes in this case isn't a star 100 model, it's a British made Clix 500 clone.

Just like this one.

1940s potmetal isn't very durable, I'm sure you'll find more cases than razors.
