Universally disliked shaving products - name them.

I know this is the home of YMMV, but I wondered if there are any products that deserved to be mentioned alongside the phrase 'YMWV' (Your Mileage Won't Vary).

Are there any products that always or almost always make people on this forum want to say, "what a stinking load of old dog-s***"? It's a challenge, but can you mention any items that you're pretty sure nobody will want to defend as being good?

I was going to say that the Gillette Fusion could be included in the list, but I've been told I could be wrong about that.

A lot of people use a fusion on this forum. One I think everybody can agree on though is Herban Cowboy soap. Its the worst.

L'Occitane Cade Shave Cream is routinely panned as a pathetic performer, although even it has some fans. I have found it useless, unless combined with the Cade soap for a super lather

Herban Cowboy shave soap
Merkur blades
Caswell Massey shave soap
:mad3: Merkur blades are great. Well it might be safe to say, great for me and my skin type. ;)
2 things I have learned to hate with shaving and since getting into wet shaving...
ANYTHING Gillette, except maybe DE blades
e-Shave.

I don't know there are universally disliked products. I LOVE my Fusion, though I haven't used it as I am trying to nail the DE thing. The Merkur blade I tried was fine--ultimately probably not for me and I hear it is very spendy.

I would have guessed Caswell-Massey soap, but I'm guessing some here like it, too.

How can you hate Gillette razors? They make such a wide variety of razors that it seems unfair to say you hate ALL things Gillette except their blades.

I despise AoS prices and the Nivea shave soap that wouldn't lather if you put it in a kitchen aid.

No.

There are no Universally disliked items.

Assuming you don't mean Universally, and just mean Globally - No.

Assuming you don't mean Universally or Globally, and just mean Nationally - No.

Assuming you don't mean Universally, Globally, or Nationally and just mean Locally - No.

Why don't you just make a post of what shaving products are disliked at your house? It's the only way you're going to get a Universal answer.

I'm assuming you mean the products that routinely get FAR more nays than yeas, and Caswell Massey shaving soaps and creams are right up there. Someone always likes something, but C-M, Herban Cowboy, and Cade cream can go to the bottom of your "to try" list.

Burt's Bees shaving cream. I've never tried it myself and the reason is that every time I see it mentioned on these forums it is absolutely panned. Now that I've said that, someone is sure to point out a post where somebody said they liked it.
