Unidentified razor - help needed!

Hi,
I'm trying to identify the model in the attached photos. I doesn't seem to match precisely anything I can find. Can anyone help identify it for me using the photos and the with the information under the head it has 'BRIT PAT' 'No.400,621' and ' Made in England'?
The razor belongs to my father who was given it by this father possibly in the mid 50's but the razor wasn't new then.
Any help would be appreciated.

It is a #15 Aristocrat set from the 1930's. Very nice.

Actually, the case may belong to a mid 1930's #47 Popular set, but the razor is definitely a #15.

Check the knurling. The razor is a #15, while the case looks to be a #47.

Sir, you're absolutely correct. There's a big difference in the razors.
