Uneven blade explosure/"play" in New Improved head?

I now own two razors from the New Improved family. I bought a second because with the first, the blade had too much "play" in the head and it didn't always end up completely centered when tightening the razor.

This is the case with the second one I bought as well. Is this normal for this kind of razor? I'm assuming it would have to do with changes in blade design since then.

Ouch, my favorite blade (Crystal) is rather loose. Thanks for letting me know.

Could anyone tell me what blade fits better?
