My honing made leaps and bounds when, as the vid mentions, I really focused on my torque. Specifically keeping it light and not flexing my blade.
Just honed a problematic W&B this past weekend (my first W&B and my 1st warped blade). I got a little frustrated with the warp after trying several things and decided to get pretty heavy on the torque and putting pressure on the section of the heel that was giving me problems. It worked, but every inch of my being was screaming "back off the torque" while I was doing it. I'm ok with that little voice saying "back off"...keeps me honest and out of trouble.
