Uh-Oh! We got a leaker.

just use the leak hole to take cream out the tube, and leave the cap closed. unless you have stuff laying around the house, anything that will seal that will most probably cost as much or more then the tube itself.
 
They sell little Ziploc "sauce" containers with lids. Like really small ones that should fit. Otlr they make ones about the size of a TOBS bowl just squeeze into there.
But it won't last year's that way le it would in the tube. But if you plan on using it inside of 6-8 months, you'll be fine.
At the very least you'll get more uses out of it and if it turns bad you'll have used more than if you tosses it today
Small ball jar would work too and it would last ALOT longer in that
 
Has happened to me, squeezed the contents into a mug, and though it dried, I found the results nice to work with. But if you leave it alone, it probably won't even be an issue.
