Two new brushes

Hello,

I just glued the knot in these two handles, they are both in birch, the one on the left I carved it manually so it is not so perfect, but after that I bought a Proxxon micro lathe and I made the one on the right.

The details are made with a pyrography tool and a Dremel. The nodes are 24 mm from Boti, Tuxedo on the left and a 3 Color Synthetic on the right

A lot of carving by hand, must have taken quite some time. It sure would for me!

Very nice job on both handles with a lot of detail for a hand carved brush, there is not another one world that is a duplicate of those two handles. Nice to see talent at work!

I have painted the handles with a synthetic outdoor paint, but in the next ones I want to try a water-based paint. I used shellac only in the band with the texture, it is the shellac that gave it the amber color.
