Two blades are better than one?

Good morning everyone. My arm/elbow is doing better and I go back for a followup on 5/24 my birthday. :) I have been shaving using:

Twzzerman brush
Williams shave soap like a shave stick
Bic single blade disposable OR DG brand twin blade knockoff of Gillette Goodnews

I am finding that the better shave is coming from the Gillette twin blade knock off, go figure. In a word the single blade Bic is pitiful. I am still shaving in the shower with one arm. I am getting some nice shaves from those twin blade DG disposables. I am looking forward to using a DE again. :)

Glad you are feeling better!

A lot of folks here are fond of the Trac II so your twin blade experience is not too surprising.

Some of the best shaves I have ever had were with the Mach 3. If they were as cheap as safety razor blades, I would stick with them but they aren't so here I am.

Exactly. I love my Mach3 with fancy black aftermarket handle but when I go to but the cartridges I cringe when I get to the register.

Use whatever system works for you, regardless of the number of blades. Multi-bladed systems work better for some because their technique is oriented towards that type of blade.
