Turkish Perma Sharp blades made in china?

I found this link here and I'm surprized that they sell turkish Perma-Sharp blades that are made in China. Could these be counterfreit blades or has P&G a plant in China also?

I'm glad someone asked about these. I got my perma-sharps from store34 on ebay, and they were in the cardboard packaging. The ones in the plastic dispenser have a different pricing, from the same vendor. I don't know how to explain it, but perhaps chinese production is the answer.

I'm sure the Perma-Sharps in the plastic dispenser from store34 are original, because on the dispenser you can see the date when they were made while the blades from the chinese origin have no date code. The blades themselves from store34 have a different printing on them than seen on the chinese site. The printing is idencital as seen in this vintage spot

Just that I've caused no misunderstanding: I'm only talking about the Perma-Sharps in plastic-dispensers, the blades in the cardboxes come from St. Petersburg.

I have seen both in cardboard and plastic from Turkey which is why I never could tell. They are a great blade, sharp as anything else out there, maybe sharper.

I saw a Derby single edge box copied to a "T" from China only under a different name, not Derby. I do believe that anything is open to this afterall, who would you sue, they close up shop and move before you could re-serve them with papers I imagine.

Has anyone dealt with bestshave.net? Since Melyus is no longer in the business, I was poking around and found this site. They also carry the perma-sharp, but appear to be in the plastic case. Would Turkey import from China and resell?

My understanding was the plastic case perma sharps were produced in Turkey and the cardboard case was brought in when the production was moved to St Petersburg. I prefer the newer varient.

Spot on. Gillette Shanghai (Flying Eagle) does not make them AFAIK.

I have done a lot with him (Mirac). Never any problems. He does not sell stuff from China, as in this case it would probably be fake.
