turkish coffee pot to make superfine coffee.is that ok?

My wife said our electric coffee grinder can grind beans super fine...but now im asking myself...well....whats the point of my coffee brewer..guess it just gives me more brewing options..lol..turkish coffee pot holds 12oz..made from pure copper except handle which is brass..

Yup! Beat them up long enough and they'll make a fine Turkish grind. Anything else needs a really fine filter, probably paper.
Can't do that in my Baratza.

I like it as fine as baby powder, but others say it tastes different at different grinds, and they're all good. My comment above is that super-fine is about the only consistent grind a blade grinder can manage.

See Helveticum's tips in HOWTO Make Turkish Coffee

Oops! I didn't even realize the double entendre over the word fine. Guess that was subconscious.

I'd probably just try it and see. Worst case, you lose a coffee's worth of beans. My in-laws sometimes do coffee that way, and no way does their grinder do super-fine. Still tastes OK.
