Tum's "breeze" menthol

From russia comes tum companys shave cream "breeze" in menthol...they have a few others as well...not much menthol smell or "kick" here, but a very nice scent of clean perfumy barbershop...not citrus, not musk or menthol, more like a clean high quality bar soap scent, comparable to arko "cool"...the lather puffed right up,and my lathers are very airy and "puffy" do to the very very porous bowl I use,as soon as the vie-long horse goes into action the bubbles burst and the lather thickens as you paint your face..the glide and adherence was right in the middle of quality road...a fresh gillette blade in the krona worked well,no problems..the krona is a little on the light side and I found myself applying extra pressure to dig deep into a smooth shave...plenty of "breeze" left on the horse for a few more passes after my shave had finished...the final touch was a smack from the pinecone, that really does not have IMHO much "pine" scent, maybe pine tree bark ? not a douglas fir, evergreen type of scent, but the combo of the ingredients that pino uses is great,I really love the smell...after many years of using attars,I can say with much confidence that pino's "secret ingredient" simply listed as "parfum" on the box label is "OUD"...

Hey, I see that tube of Fauldings in the back there looks suspiciously empty. I think someones been using it more that they have been letting on!!

I noticed some Bozzano cream in your collection. How do you like that one?

the bozzano cream is a real delight ! great scent, real old fashioned soap, perfume, powder scent..a small amount puffs right up,good glide and everything you would want in a quality cream, same for it's cousin, the brazilian brut, made in the same factory with a different scent, great stuff, especially if you like that brut scent to linger in your brush long after it's been rinsed a dried !,,,the bozzano A/S is a different scent than the cream.it's not bad,but there are so many aftershaves in this price range that are better....the campos de jordao A/S ,also from brazil ,and also from the same factory, has a nice menthol kick and more complex scent, same price..I believe shaveabuck is the only importer at this time...

hey ! don't forget I did say I loved the scent !! and I do ! one of my favorite cream scents...all the fauldings that is gone from the tube equals only 3 shaves.....really,compared to arko or derby ,you must use 2-3 times the amount to achieve the same lather...if it were as cheap here as it is in australia,it would make much less difference...

Interesting about the amount of product you need. I have some on the way actually, after your posts about it I am looking forward to seeing what its like.
