Tuckmar Solingen DE razor

Here's an unusual and unusually classy retro looking razor. Likely it really is from the 1930s and is in excellent condition. Really a nice heft to it and the grip, finish, balance -- everything seems well-engineered. Too bad it is such a rarely seen model.

Nickel plated over brass -- or so it seems.

Very nice set.

TUCKMAR , Tuckmantel And Martin of Soligen Germany, they also made Shavette style straights in 1968 (they patented it in USA/Pat#994850).

Here's another Tückmar DE from Germany. One side is bar style, the other open comb! Seems to have a high quality feel to it. Jake seems to think these were made in the 1930's (at least his example). I'd guess a bit later for a date, at least for this one, but it's only a guess. This example seems to be a bit different from the other examples of this razor that are found online in that it has a RFB effect to it while the others are just curved.

It's a slant, correct? I was having a little trouble seeing the photo.
Besides Tückmar I assume you looked into the Globus / Globusmann connection.
