Trying to get rid of Razor Bumps

I'm using a Shavette (disposable straight razors) and I still get some bumps. Any particular shaving cream or razors I should be using?

Currently using Kiss My Face for shaving cream, and Derby razors

Try a real straight. The blades you are using could be too harsh. Use Tend Skin to heal the bumps. Stop shaving for a little while so the skin can heal. Then, when you start back, just do one pass. Gradually build up to more than one pass.

I did use a real straight. I don't have time to strop/maintain one. I can go 3 days without shaving until I have to shave. My hair curls into my skin so it can't get too long.
One pass also won't cut all the hair. I do 2-3

I have similar issues and have made my own Tend Skin based on youtube videos from cheap drug store supplies. I started using it today. Maybe it will work for you?

The information you listed is vey limited. First I don't know if it's derby shavettes?
Also pre and post shave products could be making a big difference.

I'll recommend a few things. For ingrown hairs, exfoliating your face at least once a week can help with that. I know it can sound girly, but get a mens exfoliating wash and keep it in your shower. I use Baxter of California. Once or twice a week will help with ingrown hairs, as well as your shaves.
Also, try a different blade in your shavette. Derby's aren't for everyone. Try some BlueBirds. They are quickly becoming my new favorite blade. A blade sampler pack will help as well, keep trying out new blades and find one that works well for you.

I used to make my own tendskin but found bump patrol or tendskin work best. I mostly just use bump patrol now, works like a charm!

A couple things since I had pretty bad bumps for a while. As others have mentioned, not sure about your existing setup.

Exfoliate. As mentioned above, at least once a week. I do 2-3 times per week. One thing to note about this. I would not exfoliate right before shaving since it can irritate the skin and make the shaving process more difficult. I usually exfoliate at night and shave in the morning.
Use a bump fighter. I've used razor bump products from Anthony Logistics and Bump Patrol.
Tweeze (or use a tooth brush). Try to get ingrown hairs out at least a few hours (or days) before a shave. Again, this leads to fewer bumps and irritation down the line.

Good luck

try a good preshave..I use DR Harris Arlington..let is set 5 minutes before a shave..works well for my sensntive skin as well
