Trumpers in Carmel Ca

Hey guys,

was just in Carmel Ca a little town right outside Monterey in central CA. I went into the local (and only) drugstore and found and entire section of Trumpers products. They had every scent in soaps, creams, lotions. They also had brushes and Kent brushes as well. Even Tabac products! great little find if anyone lives near that area.

The drug store was on ocean blvd and san carlos.

Unfortunatley SWMBO was there and couldnt get anything...but i forgot to mention they had samples of all the creams there so i took each one. Tried Coconut this morning and was impressed because the last and only trumpers cream i tried was violet and was very very dissappointed with that. But tomorrow going to try Rose. And from the scent i can tell its going be a great shave.

Lots of wealthy people and wealthy tourists in Carmel. Hence the availability of "finer" shaving products in a drugstore. They also have a great fountain pen shop.

(I lived there for about a year and a half. Beautiful place. I wasn't into wetshaving at the time, and wouldn't have known Trumper's if it bit me in the butt.)

Ah, my old home town (well, Pebble Beach, but close enough). Doesn't surprise me at all that there'd be a market for this stuff there.

Got the chance to visit this place. Very cool little shop. They have lots of colognes, Tabac, Kent (Soap, Brushes), Trumpers, and Taylors.
