Trumper/ T&H soap performance?

It looks like QED now stocks some Trumper and T&H soaps. This is probably old news, but that website... it's hard to follow all the changes. These soaps usually get pretty great reviews in the review section here, but great reviews don't always translate into a great product for me, and it's a lot of money to drop on a whim. I was hoping that some of you guys out there would be able and willing to give any feedback about how they compare to some popular stuff I already have.

I regularly use Taylor creams, C&E sandalwood soap, and a Tabac puck. If I had to order these best to 'least best' (they all work pretty well for me), it would have to be the Taylor creams, Tabac, then the C&E soap.

Does anyone have any ideas about how the Trumper soaps compare to these products? It would give me a better idea about how they might work for me. If it matters, I was thinking of the Trumper rose and maybe one other scent, and a T&H soap.

They're roughly comparable to Tabac. I find them almost, but not quite, entirely unlike creams such as the Taylor's you mentioned.

You say "a T&H soap" as if they make more than one soap. They don't. Just FYI. They make a lot of creams but only one soap.

I've tried creams from both houses but no soaps, so I can't answer your question. I found the Trumper's creams to be slightly superior to T&H's offerings, for what it's worth.

Both the T's you mentioned are champions in every way and not much to go wrong if you choose either of these brands. The only difference is that Trumpers has a lot more options as compared to T&H's only offering. Personally if i had to choose then it would be the T&H soap, somehow i like it over the Trumpers. If you decide to go with the T&H then pick this soap as it is the same soap, just rebranded (IMHO).
