Truefitt and Hill Sandalwood Shave Cream

The cream is very soft. My strategy to bring up lather is that it's:

1. Pre-moistened with about 1/2 tsp water;
2. with the tub held upside down, a damp brush is gently drawn across the cream for loading;
3. into the shaving bowl that's slightly damp the brush is swirled;
4. during which I'll add about four drops of water to expand the lather. I'll repeat this step about twice more as the lather builds.

Any suggestions aka helpful comments would be appreciated.

Even with a degree in French (fluency) from Berkeley and certifications from the Sorbonne, I lack the facility to describe scents much beyond that it smells good. T&H smells good.

Great stuff for sure, but my all-time favourite Sandalwood is Proraso Red.
