+1,000 on Bob Keyes! He works miracles with razors. I had two Dubl Ducks restored by him, one with a pretty serious frown, and they came back stunning. Very nice man...he'll call you to discuss what needs to be done. His prices are very fair. Here is a pic of the two he did for me, not to show off or hijack the thread, but just to show what he can do. They did not look like this before.

How great to have a razor that belonged to your great grandfather! You'll be in good hands with Bob. I have three razors that were restored by him and they are all superbly done. Please be sure to post some pics of the finished restore.

I stumbled across this blade ... About all of the bluing has worn. I cleaned it up and put an edge on it. Its one heck of a soft keen edge. Excellent shaver !!!
