A friend of mine enjoys fly fishing and so I thought it would be a nice gift, some Trout Stream pipe tobacco, any thoughts on this one?

I think he stumbled upon this tobacco while searching for fly fishing info.
Well at best he loves it, at worst he doesn't care for it and cellars it for a while.
Is this Hearth and Home trout stream you speak of? If so, one of my friends bought some and I smoked a bowl of it. It was fantastic. One of my top hearth and home blends that I've tried. Your friend will definitely like it.
Never tried it myself but have heard good things about it.
I recently got 4oz of Trout Stream, it's quite a nice smoke. Nice aroma, easy to pack, easy to light, good flavor and good tobacco taste. Not nearly as sweet tasting as it is sweet smelling.
Along with Butternut Burley, I hear Trout Stream is a quality, dry and cool smoking aromatic.
