So I got my first tub of Cella in the mail today and just shaved with it. Oh boy, finally found something worthy of rotating with Tabac. I love the smell, smells like almond danish from a local bakery. The lather is very similar to Tabac, very thick and creamy. Got a perfect shave with my Streamline, can't wait to start using this more. Lathered with Marco's method using my Semogue 830. Go buy some now if you haven't tried it. Amazing stuff.

Cella [and Tabac] are a couple of my favorites as well..
Just killed a red tub. Not a bad shave in over 70 uses!
Hard to go wrong with Cella, especially for the price.
About 20 shaves in with my first red tub of Cella. Its my first soap and I'm absolutely loving it. Totally took over my love of creams. The smoothness and glide of the shave, the protection and fullness of the lather. Its outstanding.
I haven't tried Cella personally. I would love to be able to use it, but RazoRock (RR) Classic caused some serious irritation due to the scent strength. Thus, I will probably have to content myself with Vito's for now. All that aside, if you can handle Cella I would heartily recommend RR classic. It has a very strong cherry/marzipan scent, and my skin irritation aside, gave very good shaves.
Cella is a fantastic soap. Italian Barber now sells chunks from the brick so you don't have to buy the entire brick. I wouldn't know as I've only used the red tub, but some people say the Cella from the brick is even better.
I wanted to love cella but i didn't love the scent or the lather. Interesting that you compare it to Tabac in terms of performance because Tabac is top shelf to me. I was using the red tub...maybe i have to try the brick one day.
I'd love to try Cella, but I'm afraid to as a family member who visits has nut allergies. It does sound like a great and really affordable soap, too.
If you think the tub is good Wait until you try the brick - it's better!!!

My Spring post-restraint purchase will be some Italian products, including Cella, the 830, Proraso red and white, and either Proraso pre/post or splash.
Brand new tub is sitting in the shave drawer..waiting to be used.
Cella is my sole favorite. Let's see if it remains so after the MWF arrives, but that would be a hard thing to do.
Mine did. I still take the MWF out for a spin but for the most part Cella is my primary soap.
Cella has been around since the 19th Century. I would love to try it, but don't want to buy a whole tub or brick of it and not like it. I know, it's silly but I can't help it! I didn't like Col. Conk Almond (I know it's a completely different soap) and I have been apprehensive because of it.
Cella was fantastic years ago and remains so today. This is very rare!
