Treet Blades

I participated in the Vintage Williams Puck Pass and pulled a couple of blades from it which I had not tried.

One that I just put in over the weekend was a black coated blade, called Treet. It says "A treet for your face" on it as well and I have to say that is exactly what it is. I believe this may be the best blade I've ever used.

Has anyone else experienced these and are they still available anywhere or did I have a taste of "what once was" in a better time?

OK, I was so impressed with this blade and couldn't wait to inquire about it here, I did a simple google search and found they are easily available.

Does anyone else have thoughts on these blades. I have to say I recommend them to anyone to try. I'm very impresses with this one lonely blade I have and I will be getting more.

It was the Treet "Black Beauties" which somehow on the reviews appears to be called the Treet "Blue Special" I'm reading up on them now.

I found the Treet Platinums to be really good shavers. When I purchased a them a while back, they were quite inexpensive. Now, when I see them on eBay, they've inched up in price and are now around $18.00 plus shipping.

I have used the Black Beauties many times. The carbon steel will rust quickly but for me they always gave a great shave in my adjustable razors.

Are you talking about Treet SE blades made by ASR (my current favorite) or Treet DE blades?

These are the blades:

I love the Treet Blue Special, even moreso than their more technologically advanced cousin, the Dura Sharp Classic. The black blade is sexy too, no? I've got a post about it somewhere. I've been giving them out to newbs, and may regret it if I ever veer away from the path of the straight razor one day.
