Treet Blades--Wow!

Had a pack of these sitting around forever & just this morning decided to give them a try. Nice, smooth, and very consistent shave. I threw them in my Merkur HD & wow, what a refreshing shave. They seemed both a little sharper and smoother than Derbys. Very nice right out of the package; Derbys need, for me at least, a shave or two before they "settle down."

Nothing else about this post: I just wanted to share what a great experience I had with these Treets. Derby is my typical blade, but I just might have to invest in these a little more often! If you haven't tried Treet, I recommend.

Glad you found a blade you like. Some of those Treet blades are carbon steel so they need to be carefully dried off after a shave so rust doesn't develop.

I knew from his post they weren't the Treet Black Beauty!!!!!( the only blade I have used that I would rate lower than a Merkur blade)

The Treet Platinum is a very good blade! It is the only Treet that I like though, the rest of them just don't work for me; but the Platinum is one of my favorite blades. I just wish more places sold them.
