What's new

travel?

I travel 3-5 times/year on business, usually gone for 2 nights. I have learned not to overpack for such trips and can easily take what I need in carry-on luggage. Because of this, I usually take a M3 along with me since carrying DE blades on the plane is a no-no. What do others do?

There are many threads in the forums about this. Some are quite recent.

When I fly, I just take the basics.

Forgot to mention: I would prefer to take a Mach 3 if I still had any in the house. I use Bic Metals because I got two packs of them years ago when someone on a forum talked them up, and they're in the house. But I think they work all-right -- a tad bit aggressive though, but that can be good if you are willing to really take your time.

Yah, have a wee bit of a search around.

This is my kit in the meantime though

Awesome Kit! I see a few things I will encorporate into my travel kit.

Currently:

Gillette Super Speed Blue Tip
Art of shaving pure badger brush from starter kit
Art of Shaving After Shave balm from Starter kit (I pop the pump top off it to refill it)
VDH Deluxe Shave soap
Crystal Blades, I like the used blade slot for traveling.
Small Plastic Bowl from dollar store
Art of Shaving Alum Block (paid WAY too much for this, get generic)

Non Shaving supplys:
Toothbrush
Small Tube Toothpaste
2oz refillable bottle of shampoo
Wenger Swiss Clipper with scissors, tweezers, and blade(can get without the blade for carry ons)
Small Comb
Bar of Yardley Oatmeal Soap in soap container

all of this fits in my standard size dopp bag I got with the Anthony Logistics Ultimate shave kit. If I am camping I add a small mirror to it. Backpacking I don't shave and just bring Dr. Bronner's unscented to shower and wash with.
