Sorry if you already read this info in an answer to another thread on the brush forum but I thought it might catch more attention as it's own thread.
Someone had posted asking for suggestions on how to travel with a shaving brush and it hit me like a freight train. My other hobby is astronomy and we keep our expensive eyepieces in plastic bolt cases. The bolt cases are measured in length and diameter which translates perfectly into shaving brush terms so you can be sure to get the right size. They don't have vent holes but I'm sure I don't need to explain how easy it would be to remedy that small problem.

Both websites are very reliable suppliers of astronomy equipment. Scopestuff.com does have a minimum $10.00 order but the prices listed do include shipping.
