Travel Razor

Thought I would post a few pics of the cool little German travel razor I have. At some point I might have someone make me a new bottom piece so I can use a Gillette head , as the threads are different

That's one small razor... I have a similar handle but ball-end.

I do have a Gillette vest-pocket set with a ball handle. This set is called "Vienna".
I don't know other Gillettes old type travel set with a two-piece handle.

Here we go, pictures of the travel handle...

It fits perfect with the Tech but this is a mismatch... I originially got it with a Canadian Old Type that was already a mismatch.

Any idea of the age?

I don't think there's any info on the razor itself, other than "Made in Germany", but I'm on the road right now and can't look at it. I saw some reference to an Apollo razor made in Germany, and guessed this is one, too, but I could be wrong.

I have a vest pocket razor without the case. It is the same thread as any Gillette 3 piece razor.

I have two just like in the OP except on case is smaller. The smaller one is designed to sit with the head slightly overlapping the handle. I really like the shave I get with these.

I think "Vienna" is only the name of this set. It was made in USA.
