Robert Williams makes/made a superb razor back when. Around 2019 he moved to Ireland and perhaps made a few razors after that. Don’t know for certain. For the most part he seems to have fallen off the grid (along with a few other notable makers…).
Anyway, this is a pristine example of his work from 5-6 years ago.
Looks like a half hollow 13/16. Acrylic scales. Excellent shape. Blade takes a scary sharp edge. Do not think you will see too many of these again.
Cannot offer for sale because I’ve blown off PayPal. I have come to the brink of their “$600 in transactions=IRS involvement”; I’m having no dog in that fight.
So…it’s up for trade for a razor similar in value; were I selling this I’d be asking somewhere in the mid-$200’s. Looking for a C.V. Heljestrand or maybe a Riga razor. No real interest in “vintage” English or German stuff. Japanese perhaps.
