Krylon international Harvester red.

I have been pleased with Revlon "Raven Red" fingernail polish.
Too many odd colored shades of red on the majority of repaints. I think the International Harvester Krylon is too bright and needs a bit more burgundy or maroon, YMMV.
A few dings in the paint are fine with me, I touched up one about ten years ago and wasn't pleased. Now I leave 'em alone!

I wouldn't think of touching up the '59.
Humbrol #20 Crimson Gloss looks pretty much spot-on to me.
And it's cheap & available in 50ml pots.

You're not going to get the same as a 60 year old paint.

There doubless are several colors that can do the job convincingly.
