Here is a before and after shot of my very first try at making new scales. I do plan to polish the blade more. The wood is some left over Birdseye maple. This is before I started buying Ebony. lol

Finnish is 4 layers of spray acrylic.

I like birdseye maple. I have a slingshot that was made for me out of it.
