Declaration Grooming Icarus
Noble Otter (new formula)
Storybook Soapworks
WK DM formula
Tie between Eleven and West of Olympia (new formula).

I also am a fan of Southern Witchcrafts but that’s mosrly for their scents. Ditto for B&M.

1 (by a large margin) BOSC Special Reserve X-Mas (homebrew courtesy of a fellow BOSCite) L3 PS3 C?, very menthol and pine
2 Cella brick L3 PS3 C3
3 Arko stick L3 PS2 C3
4 Williams mug L2 PS2 C3
5 RazoRock What the Puck Lime or Orange L2 PS2 C3, citrus!

Sadly, looks like price (and perhaps tradition) is important to me... I do have a tub of Declaration Grooming’s After the Rain. Smells nice during the shave, but I give it L1 PS2 C1. I have tried a variety of soap and cream samples, but only some magic unobtainium has displaced the old reliables.

1.) Williams Mug
2.) B&M 42
3.) Stirling (any)
4.) MWF
5.) The discontinued AOS with tallow, made by Valobra

Honourable Mention:
B&M Latha (any)
L'Occitane Cade
Maggard Limes & Bergamot

The Holy Black would be # 6.

Haslinger Schafmilch

1. Tabac - maybe a too strong scent for someone. I didn't like it at first but came to love it, it's a quintessential 'German shave' smell for me.
2. Cella - great slickness and fantastic post shave feeling. Also, when you buy a kilo, it's a great bang for the buck soap.
3. Vreto (Serbian artisan soap) - this soap is fantastic, hope it will become globally available soon
4. Proraso - Italian classic, I can't get enough of Proraso Green, it's how the barbershop should smell in my book.

In my book, the Italians got it most nailed down.

Others I tried, I don't like that much to put them on a 'favorite' scale, as they are not my favorites in any means.

1. L'Occitane's Cade
2. Pre de Provence
3. Stubble Buster's Game
4. Wild West Shave Company's Pinkerton
5. VDH Luxury
