Top 3 Shaving Soaps - With Age Group

I've been searching the forums for what people feel is the best shaving soap.

My curiosity is when it comes to scent. For example, some love Tabac, but some feel this scent is maybe better described as matching up with older gentlemen.

You can say lower, mid and higher age bracket too.

I Use Both Regular Van Der Hagen, as well as Mama Bears Lavender And Vanilla Soap(Which I Was Recently Given)
I Like Both, But I'm Leaning Toward Mama Bears because they have a wide variety of scents.
They Both Work Very Well.
BTW, What is the lower age bracket?

Favorite scent. I like wood scents best. Particularly Sandalwood and Cedar. After that would be spice. Cloves, pepper, Cinnamon, etc.

For scent alone:

Proraso red (cream, but maybe a soap in the future)?
DR H Marlborough
Kell's Arabian Spice

I would probably fall in lower.

Well maybe 20s and 30s, then 40s and 50s for mid and 60 + for higher. I thought some people might want to hide their age

I'm 51 and my top three are La Toja Manantiales, MWF and Martin de Candre, although AoS Lanvender and Mike's Rose and Cedarwood are not far behind.

I am 26 and my favorite by far is Tabac. I love the scent, even though my girlfriend does not like it. My second favorite is MWF, while my third is Arko

I'm 30 and my top 3 scents are Mystic Water wild lavender and her lavender/lime and MdC. I am a sucker for lavender. I will say that's do like Tabac though, but I don't use it much in summer.

35
awaiting the new nancyboy blossomwood scent which I loved from my brothers set.

I love proraso's sandalwood for scent and performance. but that's a cream.
I enjoy razorock's La Famiglia line. I have the green tobaccowaiting to try their artisan tallow based soap.
D.R. Harris lavender soap bar- a DR Harris soap is a must in my cabinet.

Lower age group. My 3 favorite scents For now are: L'Occitane Cade, Mikes Barbershop, and Mystic Waters Rosalimone.

I guess that I fit into your middle bracket (as far as age is concerned)

1. D R Harris
2. Czech & Speake
3. Tabac

With all due respect to the OP, a soap's performance and not scent is how I determine a "best". For me a soap's slickness, cushion and latherability beat out its scent as primary characteristics.

Having said that, my top 3 soaps based on performance:

1) Czech & Speake
2) D.R. Harris
3) Vintage Yardley

My top 3 based on scent:

1) Creed Green Irish Tweed (lousy soap, IMO)
2) D.R. Harris Arlington
3) Acqua di Parma Collezioni Barbieri

Edit: I'm not as old as Ouch.

Are you saying that Ouch will come in here with his favorite scents being:

Agarwood, Frankincense, and Myrrh
