Can anyone recommend their top 3 choices for shaving creams? I am a big Proraso fan so I would have to say my number 1. Proraso Menthol 2. Being Arlington from DR. Harris...honestly don't know what my 3rd would be...maybe you guys have something to recommend?

yeah I figured there would be quite a few Proraso's in the mix... I've heard nothing but good things from the Italian company....also heard a lot about T&H and then that DR. Harris....anymore information would be greatly appreciated!

Truefitt & Hill and DR Harris are the quintessential English shave creams IMHO. T&H's Lavender, for instance, isn't just a simple lavender EO scent but rather a classic English Lavender scent that's the result of a blend of different scents instead. Ditto for both Harris & T&H's Rose creams; they are classic English Rose scents. Both brands creams create luxurious lather with the best cushion and glide that I've found in any cream since the old Coates brand went out of business. Trumper's creams are excellent too, especially their Sandalwood, Limes, Spanish Leather & Violets (IMHO) creams, but sadly not their soaps. These creams whip up enough lather to complete three++ passes from an almond sized bit of cream. T&H, Harris and Trumper creams are top notch in performance in my book, try at least one of them as you explore the many excellent creams and soaps that are available today.

I will be honest and say that many of my favorite shave soaps/creams are considered croaps and I am not sure which side of the forum they belong on .
I love RR Fresco, QCS (Iced Key Lime & Fougere), and I would consider Saint Charles Shave Soap Dagger as it is more of a cream like texture. I terms of tube cream Proraso, La Toja, and Arko Maximum Comfort.

I'm surprised only one other has mentioned Castle Forbes. After that, I would say Cella (really a croap, not a cream), then Proraso / C.O. Bigelow.

2. Art of Shaving Unscented (dying to try Ocean Kelp, though).
3. Cella. Another croap.
My only true cream, other than AOS, is Kiss My Face. While not a "Top 3" overall, definitely a top cream for value and accessibility.
