What's new

Too much time on hands today :letterk1:

So was bored, and decide to a Weigh all of my Vintage Gillettes, was interesting to see the Heavy Weight, and Light Weight, and my finding are in ounces.

Gillette Slim Adjustable TTO- 2.50 OZ

Gillette Ball End Tech - 2.05 OZ

Gillette Flair Tip TTO - 2.01 OZ

Gillette 1947 Notch-less Super Speed TTO - 1.94 OZ

Gillette Flat Bottom Tech - 1.66 OZ

Did not expect results, did expect the Slim Adjustable to be Heavy Weight. But the others were foolers.

Foreigners always trying to tell us kids what to do:angry:
Ha. Read your first post and who wanted who to confirm to their outdated system that few countries still use.

I'll leave it there so we don't get political.

Grams gets my vote for razor weights.

Nope Americans do things our way. No one is forcing anyone to copy our way.

Just show us respect, and we will show respect.
Agreed. I didn't open the can of worms on which system to use.

Another post, not yours, wanted the entire world to change to your system.

You used the correct units. We use a different system. I am comfortable using both and often do, especially when following a recipe.

Well I recall once having photo assignment to do some pictures at Para-Games.

Was talking to young guy who was Sprinter, he had lost both legs.

Asked what wss he event, he replied the 100. I ask his best time? He gave me number, I said that flying for 100 yards. He replied we run 100 meters.

His time was like 11.2 Seconds, he was very fast.

A meter is 3.37" longer than a yard. Wouldn't his time have appeared slower?
