Tom Ford Amber Absolute

Has anyone tried this scent? At fist I have to admit that I got a kind of....if any of you have ever had wood-shop, it smelled like walking in the room right after a lot of wood has been cut. Afterwards though it has a very nice vanilla and some other variation of something I can't tell, but it is niiice

Hint for any of you out there, I have politely asked Tom Ford via their website for 2 samples (they are very generous) and I got them in the mail today. I think I have found my winter sent in this Amber Absolute

In my opinion, it is worth the lucre...and I seldom say that about scents in that price range. It's a rich spicy custardy amber that lasts easily into the next day with minimal application.
