C-Mon Carl Monkhouse Blackie, NY. This is going to go on BST in all likelihood once I decide on a fair price for it since I don't have the capabilities in my home to do all of the required work, but I thought I'd share bc it is lovely and a very desirable razor. Needs a little bit of corrosion treatment, needs the scales addressed, and it needs to be honed. Beautiful though.

Needs a tiny nick honed out that you can see also but no big deal, really. Flash made it out to be far more than it is.

My C-MON Blackie is in the top 10 of all razors that I've ever shaved with.... A great edge.... Really sings when it is stropped!

Yeah, if the scales were clean I'd just clean up the blade and keep, but I don't have time/materials for all this stuff. I do think they are the original scales at least bc I have seen others with these plain, white ones. I violated my personal rule (and I literally never do) about not a buying a straight which needs multiple things done to it bc these have a reputation for greatness. Only a few makers I'd take a punt on with issues.
