Todays "lunch break" antique store find.

looks like a bakelite handled tech and a flare tip in a slim case.

Some blades as well. Paid the prices marked...

I think I did OK

The blades were all crammed in the slim box with the flare tip except forthe blues which were in the tech case as shown

The tech appears un used. The pack of blue blades has tight plastic wrap fully intact.

i have one question for anyone that knows. I probably already know the answer but is that to: from: sticker on the slim case supposed to be there?

I figure someone just stuck it there because it is not completely straight. Before I clean it off i figure it best to ask.

I can't vouch for that one in particular, but Christmas promotions were always HUGE for Gillette, and I have seen other sets with Christmas "to/from" labels on them that didn't look like someone just whacked one of their own onto them. The shape of the ornament that's on that label of yours is extremely familiar -- like I've seen it in Gillette's advertising before, but I can't find any specific examples for you right now quickly. I'll update with more if I do find whatever I'm remembering. Meanwhile, it's been on there for 50-some years now... a bit longer wouldn't hurt it.
