MDC Fougere
NSS (Nanny's silly soap) Vetiver or any smoky vetiver soap
HTGAM Cavendish, maybe.

Umm... it would depend on what you want to do. If you want to combat the damp chill, try something warming and close like a wood scent or RR Zi' Peppino; if you want to brighten the day, perhaps a bright citrus scent like TOBS Grapefruit or an uplifting floral scent. If you want to match the rainy day, maybe something earthy like Catie's Bubbles LPV or Ginger's Garden British Empire, or a light, aqua scent like La Toja, Tiki Set Sail or Surf's Up, or Wickham Southsea Spray.

For me, Vetiver is a perfect compliment to a rainy day...especially a cold rainy day. So, pick up some Salter's Vetiver cream or some Mike's vetiver soap (if he still has it). As an aside, for aftershaves on a rainy day, besides vetiver I LOVE Clubman Special Reserve.

If it's cold and rainy, QCS mysore sandalwood; warm and rainy is QCS vetiver.

For me, Vetiver is a perfect compliment to a rainy day...especially a cold rainy day. So, pick up some Salter's Vetiver cream or some Mike's vetiver soap (if he still has it). As an aside, for aftershaves on a rainy day, besides vetiver I LOVE Clubman Special Reserve.

Stirling's Port au Prince is also a very nice Vetiver option. And Iced Coffee is a good cold/rainy day option.

My MdC Fougere is a great scent any day as far as I'm concerned. I didn't start off fully convinced of its greatness in my first few uses, but it just gets better and better for me. I don't think it's hands down the best there is, but it's definitely not surpassed by anything. It's up there with the best ever for sure, and the scent is great. I can definitely see it as a rainy day scent, also.

Well, if I were shaving today (I'm not) and it were raining (it's not... yet), I would probably use something like Proraso Red, RR Zi Peppino, or something lavender.

I do enjoy a rainy Saturday in, sometimes.

I think this is a good time to wake up this old thread. The heat finally broke and it’s a cloudy rainy day. I’m not really sure which of my soaps/creams would be best to use on a rainy day. Has anyone out there found a particular soap/scent they prefer when it’s raining?
I've never really pondered it, so today I’ll try Sapinificio Varesino Desert Vetiver and see if its a suitable choice for rainy weather.
Please post if you already have preferences for this kind of day.
