TOBS Luxury Lime Aftershave Opinions Please

I am considering a purchase of a tub of Taylor Of Bond Street Luxury Lime Aftershave.

If anyone has any experience with this please comment.

Do you like the smell?

Thanks,

Dave

I'm confused. Are you talking about aftershave or a soap or cream? The thread title and body both say aftershave, but you then ask questions about lather and cushion.

If you're talking about the Lemon and Lime cream, I don't have it but I have yet to try a TOBS cream that didn't blow me away. It's definitely on my must try list.

If you're talking about aftershave, I haven't tried this one but I have the TOBS No. 74 Victorian Limes and it's a definite winner in my summer scent catagory. I even wear it in the winter sometimes when I long for warmer weather because it smells so good.

Okay, I am still a bit confused but I am sure I know what you mean. Are you speaking of the Taylor No. 74 Victorian Lime? I am unfamiliar with a luxury lime but I may have just missed it. If it is the No. 74 then I can wholeheartedly recommend it as the best danged lime scent I have sniffed. Trumper makes one but it lasts a quick minute and then you really don't notice it. No. 74 on the other hand has much more punch and is not a straight lime scent. Mind, it is dominant lime. That's what makes it great. But it has a much deeper set of base notes that 'carry' the scent if you will. I absolutely love it and think that for under $30 in most shops it is a significant bargain compared to Trumper and particularly Truefitt & Hill's modern smelling scents(at twice the price). I linked a picture below.

Cheers, Todd
