TOBS Eton College - First Impressions

It's been awhile since I've had a new acquisition. So as an early Fathers day gift I picked up a tub of Eton College.
My tub came from West Coast Shaving and is the dark blue/grey colored tub. I expected something different with regards to the scent. To me this is very similar to the scent of T&H no. 10. Performance wise I was very pleased with how it lathered and provided excellent glide and cushion for the razor. After the shave my face felt refreshed and bbs. Most creams either leave a hint of irritation or dry my skin...not the case with Eton College. I think "simple ...yet effective" sums up Eton College precisely.

Thanks for reading.

I really liked Eton College. I really like the scent, slightly citrusy. It's a great performer and I think I may get some again next time I'm ordering cream.

I haven't tried the Eton College yet, but I just went through an entire tub of almond. I dug into that stuff like it was hard soap. Worked up a great lather. Ran through half a tub in about 2 weeks. Then, well, "I used less product, and it worked."

I shaved with Eton College again today. Another excellent shave but the scent was somewhat more subdued with increased complexity and refreshing notes. I guess exposing the cream to air after being packed tends to "liven" it up a bit. I believe I will be ordering the AS as well!

If you like the cream, you'll like the A/S. The only funny thing about it is that unlike their other A/S's, it comes with an atomizer. So I have to spray it in my hand and then apply. I've never tried spraying it on my face, wouldn't want it in my eyes or mouth. Don't know why they did that.

One of the first creams I tried after getting settled in on technique with Proraso. Loved the scent but my face always got very irritated so it made it's way out as a trade.
