So I have read that Alt Innsbruck AS and balm has tobacco in it, and I am now tracking it down. But what about my favorite part of the process, the lather? Does anyone know of a cream that has a tobacco scent, especially one with actual tobacco in it? Much obliged.

My son just received his order of the newly formulated wheat-based shaving cream custom-mixed to order from The Shave Den Store in the Vetiver fragrance. Of course there's no tobacco in it, matter of fact, I have no way of checking, but there's probably some federal or state tax or other regulations that address adding tobacco to commercially distributed products applied to, or ingested into, the human body. Anyway, it smells like tobacco, not like a cigar or a cigarette or Red Man Chewing Tobacco (my favorite, as a matter of fact) but like a very nice mellow pipe tobacco, due to the EO additive(s).

Josh- I was thinking about trying out an escential shave cream and seeing if I could find something close to tobacco, but remembered you said you were not totally satisfied with their cream. Could you tell me more about your experience?
TGQ (the gentlemen's quarter) has a "black cavandish" which you can get as a cream or a soap.
I went in and got a sample of their shave cream and also asked them to add a couple of drops of EO to the sample, as they will custom scent any of their products.
as i recall the lather was just not even decent, the couple of EO drops made it extremely fragrant and a little watery. however, it was a nice sized sample and they are super nice people there. they've also got some fun stuff to check out (although they don't have Tobacco EO

i've also picked up a custom scented ASB there, and there was so much EO that it burned my skin. however, my little bro loves it, and suits him just fine.

Cavendish Black from TGQ is nice, but not similar to Alt Innsbruk. The former smells like pipe tobacco, the lather contains EO from the tobacco plant itself. I've not found a soap nor cream that smells like AI. Whomever comes up with one will have a lifelong customer!

Apart from the obvious solution of "smoke whilst shaving", I don't know of any creams with a tobacco scent. There is, of course, Tabac but although my limited-got-it-from-old-war-movies-German tells me that means "tobacco", it sure doesn't smell much like tobacco.
The soapmistresses like TGQ are probably the way to go ... I seem to remember Mama Bear having a tobacco scented soap (but then again she's got just about every scent!) and the other Sues and Colleen may be able to oblige as well.

The Trumpers sandalwood cream has a very ashy, smoky scent that takes a little getting used to. Not sure if that's what you're after though
Mama Bear offers soaps in both Pipe Tobacco and Indian Tobacco Flower. I have samples of both.
