Nice list to get started, but incorrect capitalization.

LAT or Lat (I disagree with LAT but it seems to be in common use)

The capital letter should be the first letter of the word from which that portion of the acronym or abbreviation is derived; subsequent letters should be lowercase, resulting in the camel casing visible in combined ones like VaPer and VaBur. VAPER would expand to something like Virginia And Perique Engage Readily...VaPer would be Virginia Perique. VA is a special case because it's named after a US state, and US states are two-letter-abbreviated in all capitals, but then it needs to be camel-cased when combined with another for the sake of clarity. I suppose VAPer and VABur are alternatively acceptable.

I vote that if it's not in the wiki, it's not official, and should be stricken from the record and forgotten into the ages.
