To re-blade or not to re-blade?

If I use a blade once or twice and leave it in the razor (after drying it and the razor) for a month or more, will the blade still be good or am I better off with a new blade when I go to use that razor again?

I have a habit of using a razor once or twice and then moving on to another razor (and another new blade). At this very moment, my bathroom probably contains 15 or 20 razors that are loaded with blades that have been used once or twice. Some were used weeks ago though.

Is it necessary to reload when I return to a razor that hasn't been used in awhile?

FWIW, I do that regularly and don't notice any problems. YMMV, I guess.

Wow that's a good one..I shave, unloosen the head and rinse it with hot water. I take the blade out and let it dry on a towel and than wipe the razor down and put it away..works for me but since I have not tried leaving them in, I don't know whats better.
