I've tried most of the blades out there and I just can't make up my mind... I like the Astra SP's...but also like the Gillette Silver Blues.....so I guess I'm going to have a little poll here..... out of those two which should I bulk order? I don't want to bulk order both just for cost effective savings...Give me your opinion on the two! Also I really liked the Gillette 7 O'clock blacks... opinion start NOW!

How bulk is bulk for you? You mean a sleeve of 100? Maybe just get 30-50 of each? Thats what I do. The total is maybe a little bit more, but if u buy it all from one source, it shouldn't be too bad.
If it comes down to that, I'd opt for the Astras--just because I'm a cheapskate and you can get a sleeve of 100 for less than 10 bucks.
I only buy in 100pks. and i've only bought 2 so far. But several blades that I enjoy that will be bought in the 100pks.

Buying in bulk is almost always cheaper. The trick is finding a blade you want to use for a year!
Well I tend to buy blades in bulk (100) at a time. The problem is finding a new blade you like and getting another 100. But you can always trade them or sell them if you don't like them. I also find that some blades I didn't like 2 years ago are perfectly acceptable now.
i went bulk with astras - glad i did. i get 2-3 / 3 pass shaves out of each.

I'm having an issue finding the cheapest website to order blades off of.... I haven't found the Astra's for under 10 bucks.. I've seen 13-15 but under 10? I thinK i might just use all of my starter package I ordered and then think about ordering!
Amazon usually has them for under $10...
I got 100 Astras for $9 at Amazon. I started with 200 Derbys, and that was a mistake. After some samples I settled on Feathers and bought a sleeve of 100 for $28. I bought the Astras because I heard so many good things about them and because I am irresponsible.
I have about 190 Derbys left from my 200 pack. I thought they were great but after using them for a month straight I'm thinking otherwise. I'm glad I only paid like 12 bucks, but I'll probably go for the Astras next.
Just get packs of 100 of each brand you like, it is inevatable that you will end up with a pile of blades shoved into various corners of your house so you may as well get it over with and pile up now.

then in the aftermath you can trade the blades, derbies will be like small change, feathers will more likely be like hundred dollar bills.
