Tiny safety razors

On the weekend while hunting through a junk shop I came across two tiny safety razors - no greater than an inch in length (3-4 cm for my Aussie friends). I thought about picking one up just for the novelty, but couldnt actually imagining shaving with it (or even finding a blade). The owner told me they were ladies razors but otherwise didnt know much.

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about these razors?

Ladies razors is what they are.
A couple of common names if you feel like searching for info about them would be
Laurel, and
Evans

They come up every so often on eBay. Don't know how hard it might be to find blades for it.

Well, I don't know how else you figure any area could be shaved without some form of exposed blade - barring relatively modern electric razors of course.

Saw one on ebay and briefly thought about investigating blades for it...then realised there's NO WAY that SWMBO trusts my technique that much yet!

It could also be a mustache razor (for trimming fussy oldfashioned mustaches) or a corn razor (for shaving corns off your feet).

It may be kind of funny...but I was thinking that those small razors would be perfect for the impossible corners under the chin or exactly as the other guy mentioned for the mustache...I'd be interested in the pics...do show

Here's a pic of the Laurel Ladies Boudoir Razor. The Evans is of a similar size. The blade measures only about 1" x 1/2". The handle is only about 1-3/8" long.

And my wife really, really, wants a coronation aristocrat 66 and was just saying the case doesn't have to close perfectly!! I, I mean she, might have a hard time finding blades but.....
