That's true (if a shallow angle is being used).
But this beauty is ever so efficient. I could have stopped to mow down two days worth of growth just after one xtg pass with a fresh Feather blade and could have called it a
But I went all in with a second atg pass. The finish is like oil on glas. On tiny red spot appeared ( a fresh Feather after all), which didn't return once the AS was applied. Stellar shave!

Using Shave Yahtzee I came up with this razor, blade and brush combination. Originally I had chosen a different soap, but this one was a gift yesterday so just had to try it right.
And I can say that the soap is amazing (thanks for the suggestion @flask28)! It smells really great and actually very different from what barbershop usually smells like (at least to my mind anyway). Very fruity somehow and fresh. It is a combination of tallow and lanoline which gives a smooth and slick shaving surface. The post shave feel is amazing too. Really nurturing to the skin (MWF is even softer post shave, but this is really nice).
Now the razor and blade combination worked out pretty well too. The end result is almost completely marble skin and one super soft face! An excellent birthday shave.

Timeless (Ti) is at my top spot now as well, just ahead of Overlander and Yates. It had more blade exposure extending out from the edges of the cap than either of those razors (and certainly more than the Era), but give wonderful smooth & close shaves anyway, I don’t know how they do it!

I am liking the surprise element more and more. For today Shave Yahtzee combined my favourite razor with probably my favourite blade.
It has been a while since I used a fresh Titan and I kind of forgot the owner’s manual - careful on the first shave for the coating to slightly smoothen out. In combination with too much pressure in the goatee area and right cheek resulted in a couple of weepers. I think the combination can do better with the operator more alert and awake perhaps. The overall result however is smoothness all around.
In honour of the departure of my wife’s friend back to the US I decided to use Mike’s Barbershop she gifted to me last week. This soap is so amazing! Barbershop, but I am convinced I smelled apples this morning!
All in all great shave with splendid results.

I watched an old YT of Geofatboy the other day on going ATG (nothing new) and it inspired me to do his routine to see how it would work out. Straight passes no exotic techniques. Two passes, ATG on the cheeks and some touch ups I must say the results are not all that bad and good actually. It is not a full blown BBS I usually get (chase might be a better term), but I am smooth all over with the exception of the trouble spots on my neck.

Yes it was a great shave. It's in between the Bronze solid bar and the open comb as far as aggression. The extra weight of the 100mm handle does not bother me at all. Thanks, Guido!

The Ti95 is hands down the best razor in my collection. YMMV, but it is as close to perfection as it gets for me. She delivers awesome shaves and design and aesthetics on this razor are marvellous. And best of all: it’s not a dream, it’s reality!!
The Personna blade is on its 10th run today and the pairing with the Ti95 I expected to be similar to the Eddison. Excellent couple and an amazing shave resulted in marble cheeks and very smooth elsewhere.
Omega took care of the Haslinger and whipped up a wonderful lather. I am bringing this one to 50 shaves.
A marvellous shave!!
