Timeless SS .68 or Blackbird Lite

Hello all! I’m interested in upgrading to either a Timeless .68 or a Blackbird Lite. I shave 5-6 times a week. I like more mild razors. I’m also a 1 pass with buffing shaver.

I love the Timeless Aluminum and the Lupo .58. The GC .68 is also good for me.

I don’t mind blade feel cause I usually feel it on my chin.

I like upper mild to medium efficiency razors.... I have to say.... I played around with combining different metals with the Timeless Ti 0.68OC razor heads.... My favorite, though not by much is, the scalloped Bronze cap with the 0.68OC Titanium base plate...using a Ti Crown handle....To set it off, I'm using a bronze razor stand. For me, it's smooth, comfortable and I get 12 hour shaves with it effortlessly.... As always, YMMV, of course.

That is one of the nice things about Timeless.... All of their caps, base plates and handles are interchangeable and all can be purchased separately. Mark / @BigAlVista gave me the idea of using the bronze... I had been using a stainless steel scalloped cap.. and it's just as good with zero maintenance, so you might prefer that if bronze isn't your thing.

I have or have had all of the razors you mention except the aluminum Timeless. The Blackbird Lite will be the most efficient of the bunch. The Timeless .68 will be the most comfortable.

Since you say you don't mind feel, the Blackbird Lite would be the one to get; it is the most unlike the others. If you don't want to stray very far away from what you have, the Timeless .68 would be the one to get.
