Thank you, @Ad Astra . Those were excellent points I had not considered. I guess I was lucky the first time as I have not noticed any major issues buying from S&D. I will buy from their main area next time so if there is an issue, I can return. Timeless makes outstanding razors, very happy with the one I have.

I choose to shave with mine every day, and have quite a few other choices.

Arguably I might not have gotten Ti if it wasn't for the significant savings... And most people report no issues. Got exactly what I signed up for with no complaints. It was fun grinding on that titanium actually. Man the base got hot when the sanding bit was smoothing it! Reminded me of our titanium space capsules during reentry...

Having said this, Timeless states S&D works as any regular part and will make things right if something doesn't fit - certainly did for me!
