The hearing aids of the time would probably have been bigger than a modern cell phone and one would have needed to hold them to the ear. If it was a time traveler don't you think the time police would have come back and prevented that slip up?
One can only hope that this man doesn't reproduce.

Amazingly, although the time traveler brought some goodies from the future, apparently there were no changes in fashion.
That's obviously a cell phone. If you were cool enough to have bought the whole set, you can see her erecting cell towers in the back ground in 4 different scenes... Cynics

As for time travel, my friend in high school said several time, in all seriousness that he would discover time travel.
