Gentlemen this month's theme was picked by, Zephyr--congratulations on your win.

As I was driving by the local beach today I finally got an idea for November's theme. Fall has came up here, and when seeing the empty beach it came to me: "Abandoned"


It could be, as in this case, a beach or a house, a playground, a bike left in a ditch etc.

Theme: Abandoned

Rules: Winner gets bragging rights and picks the theme to January's contest.
You must be the photographer.
One entry per month.
Try to make the image a recent one.

Absolutely blown away by the talent here!

Abandoned tractor tires sinking into an abandoned sandbox. For the sandbox its second abandonment, for in its glory days it was originally a children's wading pool. You can still see pool blue paint around the edges. Now the whole park is abandoned and is gradually growing over.



I'm not a photographer at all and this is just a snapshot but I thought it fit the theme well so... here it is.
